The Autonomy Compass

For coaches and consultants who have built something real, and privately sense it was built for the wrong reasons.

You don’t have a discipline problem. You have a life you never fully claimed.

Most people are living a life they didn’t fully choose. Not because they failed. Because it was built in response to pressure, expectation and survival, rather than from deliberate design.

The Autonomy Compass shows you where that happened, and what to claim back first.

Something feels off. Not because you are failing.

From the outside, your practice may look credible. Your work may be respected. Your clients may value what you do. Your experience may be real.

But privately, you know something is not fully yours.

  • The language.
  • The framework.
  • The positioning.
  • The structure.
  • The way you make decisions.
  • The way you execute.

You may be doing well, but not feeling free. You may know what you want, but still struggle to choose it. You may have built something that works on the outside, but feels like wearing the wrong clothes on the inside.

You have tried to think your way out. You have tried to plan your way out. Goal setting. Productivity systems. Courses. None of it touched what actually hurts.

Three places

The briefing will help you see three places your life stopped being fully yours.

01

Borrowed Identity

You built your practice around a structure that works but doesn't fully belong to you. The framework may be competent. The language may be polished. The positioning may even be profitable. But it still feels rented. Your private wisdom is stronger than your public clarity. You are performing the role, but not fully inhabiting it.

02

Scattered Ownership

Your knowledge, offers, ideas, obligations, and possibilities are spread across too many places with no clear centre holding them together. You are capable, but under-leveraged. You do a lot, but it does not compound. You know what you want, but you keep returning to second-guessing instead of choice.

03

Unsupported Execution

You keep trying to execute plans that weren't built from your actual life, capacity, patterns, or constraints. So the plan works in theory, but not in your hands. When energy is high, you move. When capacity drops, everything stalls. You are not undisciplined. You are trying to sustain a life that doesn't fit inside a structure never designed around how you actually operate.

You are not the problem. The ground you are standing on is.

Most capable people are not failing. They are performing well inside structures that were never built for them. Borrowed frameworks. Inherited identities. Outsourced decisions. Strategies that technically work but don’t truly belong to them.

Most people are not stuck because they lack information. They are stuck because they lack ownership.

The mechanism is ownership. Not ownership as a mindset. Ownership as an operating condition.

When ownership is missing, everything restarts. When ownership is installed, everything compounds.

When you build from owned ground, you stop second-guessing and start deciding.

You stop performing and start inhabiting.

You stop restarting and start building.

This is not motivation. This is architecture.

Ownership is held in five places. One of them is where yours went.

The pillars are not equal. One will be lower than the rest. That is the one to claim first.

The goal is not to force yourself into another borrowed system. The goal is to see where ownership went, and claim the first piece back.

About DK Jonah

I have lived this, and I have spent more than a decade helping other people out of it.

Chronic illness. Interrupted ambition. A PhD I walked away from. A life rebuilt from the inside out. That is where the work began. It is not where it stayed.

Since then, I have built and refined these systems with coaches, consultants, creatives and knowledge workers, across real life, real constraints, and real responsibility. People who already had the expertise but could not yet see its shape.

Chinedu, a Pan-African tech operator, came in hidden behind years of serious work, credible, capable, but invisible to the people who needed to find him. He left with a named framework, a market-facing voice, and a clear path forward.

Nothing new was added to him. What was already his was returned.

Another client came to this work already capable, already trusted with a great deal, and used to being the one others relied on. He said afterwards that he had never realised how much of his own life he had quietly handed to other people.

Once he could see it, the pieces started connecting.

That is what this work does. It does not manufacture identity. It returns ownership.

The Autonomy Compass.

Twenty-five statements you take before the call. For each one, you choose how true it is of you right now, not how you would like it to be. It takes about ten minutes. Your result shows the shape of your five pillars, your profile, the pillar to claim first, and one move you can make straight away.

Ninety minutes, live, one-to-one, on the single pillar that lets the others hold. We do not try to fix everything. We work the area your result brings into focus.

Written after the session: what is going on, what we cleared, and what to build next. It comes with a 15-minute walkthrough call so you know exactly what to do first, plus the recording and playbook, so you can keep working from it.

Everything above, one payment.

You leave with one clear move. Not a list. Not a performance plan. One next act of ownership.

This is for you if

  • You are a coach or consultant who has built something real.
  • You are respected externally, but privately aware that your practice, identity, or execution does not feel fully yours.
  • You know your private wisdom is stronger than your public clarity.
  • You are tired of borrowing other people’s language, frameworks, or structures to explain work that is already deeper than what the market currently sees.
  • You are not looking for permission. You are looking for a structure that holds the decision once you have made it.
Graphite sketch of a teetering stack of self-help books beside one thin open notebook with a single line drawn in gold

This is not for you if

  • You want a hype formula.
  • You run on hustle and urgency, and you want it kept that way. This work is slow first, then precise.
  • You want someone to shout you into action.
  • You want a quick fix that ignores your real life.
  • You want another personality test.
  • You want a scorecard for your worth.
  • You want more information without ownership.

This is not a shame tool. It is a diagnostic.

You are not broken or weak. You are unclaimed, and that is a structure, not a character failing.

Questions

Three things, one payment. The Autonomy Compass, twenty-five statements taken before the call. The Claim Intensive, ninety minutes live and one-to-one on the pillar you are claiming first. And the Autonomy Blueprint, written after the session and yours to keep, with a 15-minute walkthrough call, the recording and the playbook.

You take them before the call. For each one, you choose how true it is of you right now, on a scale from Not me to Fully me. There are no right answers and nothing to pass, and it takes about ten minutes. Your answers show where your life is already yours and where it has quietly been handed to someone else, and they surface the one pillar carrying the strain, so the session starts in the right place.

Most of what you have tried was built to give you more information, a better plan, or more discipline. None of those work from inside a structure that was never yours. This starts somewhere else: it finds where the structure stopped fitting, and rebuilds from there. It is a diagnosis before it is a plan.

That is a fair question, and it is why the £97 is not a course. You do not leave with concepts. You leave with one named pillar, one first move, and a written Blueprint you can act on, plus a walkthrough call so you know where to start. The work is sequenced at a pace you can keep. No rush. No force.

It is written after your session and sent within 48 to 72 hours, followed by your 15-minute walkthrough call. You keep the recording and the playbook, so you can keep working from the session rather than trying to remember it.

No. It is a diagnostic, not a scorecard for your worth. It does not sort you into a type. It finds where your life stopped being fully yours and shows you the first piece to claim back.

No. This is the door. Everyone who works with me starts here, no matter what else they have done.

Yes. The price on this page is in pounds. If you would rather pay in naira, email info@theautonomycode.com and I will send you a link.

The Blueprint leads the recommendation, never pressure. If a longer route such as SABI CORE is your honest next step, you will know why, in writing, before you commit. If not, you leave with one clear move, and the Blueprint is yours to keep.

If your practice works on the outside but does not feel fully yours on the inside, do not add another borrowed system.

You don’t need a better plan. You need a life you have actually claimed.
